Stop Smoking -

TIP - To reiterate that they have already made the decision to stop smoking, they wouldn't be seeing me if they wanted to continue.

TIP - First and foremost, I ask... what is motivating you NOW? Why NOW?

FACT- Our heart beats on average 100,000 times within 24 hours... smoking 20 cigarettes within this period will increase our heart beats by 10,000! I don't know about you but I would much rather use those beats on ANYTHING other than smoking!

TIP- To remember our hearts do not have endless beats... each one counts.

FACT - Your metabolism will slow within the first year of being a non smoker... it is important to be aware of this and ensure that you aren't filling that cigarette void with something else (sweets etc)

FACT - After a year your metabolism will maintain itself as it has had ample time to adjust.

A gentle reminder that cigarettes do not calm or relax us. The actual effects of nicotine in the system... believe me, it does anything by calm your respiratory system!
